Increase the load-carrying and combined vehicle towing capability of your Ford Ranger Next-Gen V6 with the Formula 4x4 3800kg GVM & 7200kg GCM Upgrade Kit (RANG-GVM3800-GCM), engineered and tested for demanding Australian conditions.
This upgrade is designed specifically for V6 models only and does not suit PHEV & 4-cylinder Ranger models.
The package increases the factory Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) from 3250kg to 3800kg, providing an additional 550kg of legal load-carrying capacity. It also increases Gross Combination Mass (GCM) from 6350kg to 7200kg (+850kg), allowing greater combined vehicle and trailer mass within the approved limits.
Designed for demanding touring, towing, trade and commercial use, the upgrade combines Formula 4x4 front ReadyStruts, Big Bore rear shock absorbers, 400kg constant-load rear leaf springs and supporting suspension components to improve load support, handling and stability under increased vehicle weight.

The upgrade increases the vehicle's permitted GVM, GCM and axle ratings, providing greater flexibility when carrying additional vehicle loads while towing. Actual available payload and towing capacity remain subject to vehicle configuration, fitted accessories and all applicable weight limits.

Optional Upper Control Arms - Sold Separately
Compatible fixed upper control arms are available to assist with suspension geometry and wheel alignment:
- TRC6750: Fixed Upper Control Arms for vehicles with aluminium steering knuckles.
- TRC6751: Fixed Upper Control Arms for vehicles with steel steering knuckles.
Upper control arms are not included in the upgrade kit and must be purchased separately if required. Confirm steering knuckle compatibility before ordering.
Vehicle Compatibility
Suitable for applicable Ford Ranger PY P703 (PX4) V6 4x4 models from May 2022 onwards, including XL, XLS, XLT, Sport, Wildtrak, Wildtrak X, Platinum, Tremor and Wolftrak variants. Applicable Single Cab, Super Cab, Double Cab, Cab Chassis and Utility configurations are covered.
V6 models only. Does not suit PHEV, 4-cylinder models or Ford Ranger Raptor.

GVM/GCM Certification & Installation
GVM and GCM upgrades require professional installation, engineering approval and certification in accordance with applicable state or territory regulations.
Upgrade kits are shipped directly to certified dealers only and must be installed by an authorised and approved Fulcrum Suspension workshop.
Our Click & Fit service allows you to purchase online and select a local approved installer. A Fulcrum Suspension specialist will contact you to confirm vehicle specifications, loading requirements and installation arrangements.
Pre-Registration Vehicles: Eligible unregistered vehicles can be upgraded under the applicable pre-registration approval process, with no additional engineering certification charge through our stated service arrangement.
Post-Registration Vehicles: Registered vehicles require additional engineering certification and modification approval. Applicable charges are displayed during online checkout.
Important GVM, GCM & Towing Information
The upgrade increases GVM to 3800kg and GCM to 7200kg but does not increase the original 3500kg rated towing capacity.
All GVM, GCM, front and rear axle load, towball download and towing limits must be observed. The increased GCM allows additional combined mass but does not permit towing beyond the vehicle's approved maximum towing capacity.

2. Select “Free Pickup” as a delivery method during the checkout process and you will be given free delivery to your nearest Fulcrum outlet where you can collect the parts. We will text and email you all your tracking details.

Shipping
We offer FREE shipping to all metro areas (excluding WA, TAS and NT).
If you live on the Australian coast, that does not mean you are subject to free shipping.
Express shipping times and free shipping times are only to be counted once the order has been shipped from our warehouses. Our free shipping and express shipping services both have the same order processing times. We first have to raise the order, then we send it to one of our warehouses for processing and once ready it will be shipped from the warehouse. The difference between express and free shipping services, is the time it takes for the item to be transported from our warehouse to your address.
